Cheesy Onion Burger Buns

Cheesy Onion Burger Buns

5 3/4 cups flour- add up to 6 3/4 c. as needed
3 TB sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 packages yeast
2 TB margarine; softened
2 cups warm water (110)
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese; shredded
1/4 cup onion; minced

In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt, yeast and
butter. Gradually add warm water. Beat for 2 min. Add 1 cup more flour and
beat 2 more min. Stir in cheese and onion and enough flour to form soft
dough. Knead on a floured surface 6-8 min. Place dough in greased bowl and
let rise. Roll out dough and cut biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet
and let rise 30 - 45 minutes.  Bake @ 400F for 15-20 min.

Yield: 12 buns

**Note: For those of you that have taken my camp cook course, be sure to make this recipe using the "Fool Proof Method", as I always recommend when making yeast breads.
