Boa Boneshaker and me

WWW

I was at a working dog seminar over the weekend.  On top of trying work two of my dogs I got silly and volunteered to make "bisquits and gravy" and "boil in a bag omelets".  I have to admit due to time contraints I used potato rolls instead of making bisquits, the rolls worked just fine.

You will be happy to hear all got rave reviews.  At least I was happy to hear!   Grin   I think next time I will try to substitute some of the grease making the roux with some veggie broth.  Unless I had time to keep stirring it the grease kind of rose to the surface, some of my dog bunch are health freaks......  And the other thing was letting the omelets boil long enough, some people were in a hurry, most people let them cook long enough.  My omelet ended up boiling for a very long time as I got sidetracked working my dogs and was still excellent.

My dog club was thrilled to hear I am coming back for the 4-day camp cook school.  I may well have started something......

Thanks for the recipes and support to get going with this.   Grin

Wonderful news. I am glad to hear the reviews. I like the idea of trying veggie broth. I was also trying to remember if I recalled any excess grease.........not sure I do, but no matter.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Wink
