Well the first week things were extremely quite and with the full moon we had I figured they were doing there talking at night. I spent three nights moving along ridges listening and trying to locate but never even had a response. The second week was a little better got busted by two satellite bulls coming up out of rock creek in the middle of the day. I also hiked all the way down to the border of the antone twice and hunted. Never did see a lot of sign there either? Called in a decent 5x6 near cottonwood and had him at fifty but he was between two trees and I only had his shoulder so I let him go. Got in to elk three different times in black canyon but every time the bull wouldn't come close enough. I did see a very good bull in there with a lot of cows. I heard from a guy who was getting ice in mitchel for his buddy who killed a 6x6 in there that there was bull that would go 350+ in there but I never saw him. I hunted really hard this year and I probably should have tried to kill one of those cows that walked by but oh well. The last week I was there things got really crazy with all the quads and guys driving every road. It was a fun hunt though. I forgot my good camera this year but I did take a few pictures on a disposable, when I get them developed i'll post em up.
