Here is a survey for everyone. What is the best meal you have ever made or eaten at camp?

Mine is made from scratch baked beens I made at fish camp last year. I put a ton of BIG chunks of wild boar meat in the beans along with the other ingredents  and SLOW cooked it over the fire. The meat was was falling apart and had absorbed all the flavor from the beans.

Whats yours ?

Hey KB, ya can't have just one, dutch ovens that is.  ;)Get some sourdough starter goin' and bake some bread, nothin' better. I even do the whole Thanksgiving dinner in the dutch ovens, Turkey included, and pine nut dressing, sweet taters, green beans, melt in your mouth rolls, and punky pie. Ummm Ummm, no i'm not singin' praise to Obambi.  Grin Grin Wink
