Treed a nice tom today that had killed a badger.  I was following the cat and dog tracks and got to a spot where I started to see badger tracks in the snow.  A little further, I could see where the lion laid in the snow and then took off at a dead run.  (Camera date is off by a day)
 
At first, the whole works was heading right for this...  Shocked   I'm thinkin' oh boy....

shows the badger hole where he steam rolled him


shows the half eaten badger


He was totally sitting on his ass, if you look close, his hind feet aren't even touching - looked pretty funny.

 Were you worried about something? Cheesy Holy smokes would that have been a site Shocked wouldve been like the lonesome dove cattle drive!
