Here's a picture from October 20th in WA. My brother and I took my dad and our boys goose hunting. We were limited out in about 2 hours. A memorable day!

What kind of dogs do you have?  We had a Chessie that loved goose hunting, ducks too but geese were the best.

We had a guy with us who had his dog which was an extremely young but well trained german shorthair. We still ended up getting out of the pit and running after the birds because we had so many geese down with each group that came into the decoys. The dog just couldn't keep up as the flocks just came in one after another!

Smoked goose seems to be the best. We've also tried jerky. Anyone one have a good recipe?
