Hello, also from Kansas
« on: August 02, 2014, 06:26:24 PM »
Hello, all. I got my first packing job in Idaho 22 years ago. Have also wrangled horses and mules in Wyoming, Colorado, Tennessee and Alaska, and spent 5 weeks in China breaking horses for an outfit. I have recently moved to Kansas, and had to take a "real job" while I try to finish raising my house full of teenagers. Love to hunt, and have taken deer, caribou, moose and grizzly, and my boys and I ride and camp long distances. I have moved from horses to mules for my personal mount, but my sons are staying with horses yet, it's more "cowboy" ;D

Wanting to expand my leather work to building myself a saddle in the garage this winter.

I hope to learn, share, and fellowship with a bunch of folks who share a love for a lifestyle, and who can help me keep my sanity while I come home from the plant every evening.

"I wonder what's on the other side of that hill?"

Welcome Long Trail.  I'd love to hear some stories of hunting up North.  I was always going to move up there, but never made it.  I guess I love Montana too much.....
