![]() DAY 19 - Friday, June 20 Sheep stalk up nearby Rock Creek. Probably the most desirable area to draw a permit in the lower 48, and it's right out the Hensen's back door. They say it's probably the most likely area to produce record-book heads and maybe even the next world record bighorn. Saw 7 elk in 3 different locations, scattered in singles, pairs and small bunches due to calving. Saw a bunch of 32 Bighorn rams mostly mature rams with 2 exceptional heads in the bunch. We were able to stalk within 40 yards and get some great photos. Very exhilarating and educational. What a day!
