![]() DAY 22 - Monday, June 23 Busy day. We covered knife-sharpening, then field-dressing, skinning and quartering game. We discussed guiding/hunting ethics and had to respond to various hypothetical ethical dilemmas that Cody presented. We also discussed various hunting/conservation groups and organizations, and what each one stands for. Afternoon was spent on cleaning, oiling and maintaining saddles. Then caping sheep heads and turning the eyes, lips, noses and ears so we'll know how to do it in the field. We even learned how to cure them with charcoal from the fire pit if salt isn't available. The entire evening was spent on preparing resumes.
