![]() DAY 26 - Friday, June 27 Spent most of the morning on tree-falling techniques and the use of axes and crosscut saws. Rounded it out with a review of camp equipment, wall tent set-up, and camp layouts. During early afternoon we practiced and were graded on bugling and archery set-ups. Then we hiked on up to a high mountain lake. Fantastic fishing! Had to hustle back and take my turn as camp cook tonight. Cody wants us to understand the importance of being able to prepare a meal, either in a spike camp or even in main camp if a regular camp cook isn't available. We're getting our experience by doing all the cooking during the pack trip. I'm not a gourmet chef, but I'm learning.Welcome | Whats New | Journal | Graduates | Dates/Prices | Info | Print App Cool Pics | Cooking School | Article | Contact Us | School Pictures Message Board | Links | Home |
